Ricky Surum is an audio engineer who currently works at Top Dawg Entertainment. He started his schooling at The Los Angeles Recording School in Hollywood, CA, while simultaneously working as a runner at Record Plant Recording Studios. It was here where he learned the analog art of music and got a glimpse inside the music industry. Today, Surum Sound is working around some of the industry’s most talented recording and mixing engineers. He has now worked with artists such as Ray Vaughn, NLE Choppa, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Doechii, Zacari, Devin Malik, Yakiyn, the list goes on.
